NMR/EPR Tube Caps - Disposable

Disposable NMR Tube Caps are manufactured from molded PVC or Polyethylene depending on the tube OD. The different colors help track samples based on various reference solvents. When using Chloroform or Acetone as reference solution, please avoid (1) direct contact between the sample and the disposable cap, (2) long term storage over 2 hours. If these conditions are inevitable, please use PTFE NMR tube caps.

Universal Solvent Jet Washers for NMR and EPR Sample Tubes

The Universal Solvent Jet NMR Tube Washer can be used for any length NMR sample tube by a simple adjustment of the flexible PTFE tubing.By loosening and retightening the fitting on the assembled washer head, the PTFE tubing that extends into the sample tube is adjusted to the proper length. The washer head is then affixed to a filter flask (with vacuum sidearm) and the side tubing is inserted into a washing solvent reservoir. After an inverted sample tube is placed over the PTFE tubing, a vacuum is applied to the flask, sample tube is pressed against the rubber gasket to form an air-tight seal that starts the solvent flow.By lifting the PTFE tubing out of the solvent reservoir, the sample tube can be air-dried.

Quick Pressure Valve (QPV) 5 mm OD NMR Sample Tubes

Wilmad Quick Pressure Valve Sample Tubes are specially designed to simplify the work of NMR/EPR studies for catalysis, gas-liquid phase reactions, air sensitive samples and elevated temperature studies using low boiling point solvents. Due to the nature of glass, Extreme Caution should be exercised when using at elevated or reduced pressures as performance of tubes under pressure or vacuum cannot be guaranteed. Adequate safety shielding should always be used when working in these conditions.. Wilmad Quick Pressure Valve Sample Tube Instruction The upper portion of the Quick Pressure Valve (QPV) is ready to accept 1/16” PTFE tubing. To make a connection, unscrew the top nut and ferrule from the top threaded port, and slide them onto the 1/16" tubing. Please make sure that the end of the tubing extends past the end of the ferrule. Screw the assembly back until its finger tight.  The Quick Pressure Valve could also be connected to 1/8" tubing through optional adapters. The following picture depicts the basic connection to 1/16" tubing and optional connection to 1/8" tubing:  If connecting the QPV valve to an existing glass vacuum manifold through a rubber hose is needed, please refer to the picture below for parts:   After assembly
