Small Volume TE102 Variable Temperature Aqueous Cell The WG-808 VT Aqueous Cell works with most common VT Dewar Inserts, including WG-821(-X) and WG-848. Flat cells confine the sample to a 0.5 mm space.Wilmad uses "-Q" to designate quartzware using Suprasil® in the critical portions of the cell. NOTE: Cell product numbers that include the letter "S" indicate that optically polished flat windows are joined to the polished wall ends via a special thermal fusion technique to form an ultra high precision bore flat cell. The two windows are parallel to each other within several visible light wave numbers. These items are recommended for EPR experiments that requires critical coupling

Tissue Sample Cells

EPR Tissue Sample Cells are used for viscous samples such as polymers and wet tissue. All cells, except WG-807-Q, include a 0.5 mm deep well for thick samples. The sample is placed between the plates. EPR Tissue Sample Cells come with two support rods. Each cell includes two coverslides and two “Bronzite” clips. Optional TPX plastic is highly permeable to O2, N2 and CO2 and should not be used with organic solvents.

LG-3166F Distilling Apparatus, Midi-AFP for Ammonia, Fluoride, and Phenols

MIDI scale distillation apparatus for quantitative analysis of ammonia, fluoride and phenols in water and waste water. This unit performs scaled down versions of referenced methods (see LG-3166-100) to reduce costs and minimize waste products and lab space usage. Designed for 50mL or less of aqueous samples. Also used in MIDI-STIL™ or other midi-scale distillation systems.The vacuum jacketed distilling head and skirted purge tube maintains higher vapor temperatures required for the above distillations. This design suggested and tested by Dr. David J. Kaptain of Fox Valley Water Reclamation District.

Pyrex® MAS Rotor Inserts

Our Pyrex® MAS Rotor Inserts are designed for air-sensitive samples and semi-solid samples such as gels or highly viscous liquids. Sample can be sealed into the insert tube by heat-sealing with a torch or applying a small drop of epoxy (we recommend E-6000 Jewelry and Craft Adhesive) to the constricted part as shown below. After the epoxy is set and dry (24 hours) the sealed insert is cut through the constriction with a glass saw.Using a small funnel (p/n 815), powder samples can be packed into the insert. Gelatinous samples can be warmed and transferred to the insert using a syringe.Note:A glove box may be required for sealing of air-sensitive samples.

LG-1006 Metal Clamp

Design is similar to LG-1004 but fabricated from metal. Clamp is silicone laquer coated to avoid scratching glass surfaces. Joints are secure under moderate pressure to 200° C. Suitable where higher temperatures are used or cracking occurs in the plastic equivalent.
